Who operates Avenivo
Avenivo Labs LLC operates this website and is developing the Avenivo App, account service, Online Room service, and Web Listener.
Scope
This notice covers this website and the planned Avenivo App and services during their current pre-release stage. It describes verified release-visible data boundaries; we will revise it when those practices change or additional release details are confirmed.
Website and support information
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message. Website hosting and security infrastructure may process normal request data, such as IP address, browser information, and request logs, to deliver and protect the site.
App permissions and on-device processing
Avenivo requests access only when a feature needs it, including microphone and speech-recognition access for live speech, camera access to scan a room QR code, and local-network access for Local Room. Solo Live Translation is designed to process speech and translation on the iPhone using supported Apple frameworks and language assets. The App stores language preferences, translation history, and favorites on the iPhone. Local Room is account-free and backend-free: the Guide’s iPhone processes speech and translation and shares source and translated text with Web Listeners on the same local network.
Accounts and sign-in
Hosting an Online Room requires a Guide account. Email one-time-code sign-in processes the Guide’s email address, authentication challenge, account and session identifiers, device name, and iOS platform to establish and protect the session. Listeners do not create an account and join a room anonymously through the Web Listener.
Online Room data
For Online Room, the Guide’s iPhone performs speech recognition and translation, then sends source and translated text to Avenivo’s service for relay to Web Listeners. Online Room does not send shared translated audio. The service processes live room text in a limited reconnect buffer during room operation and does not write that text to the account database by default. It records operational metadata such as room identifiers and status, timestamps, language selections, usage counters, and service-health summaries. Global Room and hosted Google translation are hidden from the planned Launch Beta.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the website and release-visible App services, authenticate Guides, operate Online Rooms, enforce service limits, respond to inquiries, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by providers that supply device operating-system features, cloud hosting and security, transactional sign-in email, and support email. We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
No advertising or optional analytics
The website and planned Launch Beta do not use advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, or optional analytics cookies.
Your choices
You can decline App permissions or change them in iOS settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable. You can manage locally stored translation history and favorites in the App, sign out of a Guide account, and contact us with privacy questions.
Account deletion
In the planned Launch Beta, a signed-in Guide can permanently delete an Avenivo account in Settings > Account > Delete Account. A current signed-in session and explicit confirmation are required. Successful deletion signs the Guide out on every device, ends and clears any active Online Room, removes the account and its associated sign-in, session, Room, allowance, usage, and email-delivery records, and irreversibly anonymizes account-identifying data in retained administrative control records. Solo Live Translation, Local Room, language assets, preferences, and other account-independent data stored on the iPhone remain available.
Limited records after deletion
If an email address has produced a hard bounce or complaint, Avenivo retains only a pseudonymous suppression marker so the service can block future email and one-time-code delivery. The marker is not the raw email address and is used only to block delivery, not for analytics, marketing, profiling, or linking a later account. A minimal non-account-linking administrative tombstone and irreversibly anonymized operator, action, and time control facts may also remain. A later account created with the same email address or Apple identity is not reattached to deleted usage, Room, allowance, or Launch Beta history.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Avenivo is not directed to children under 13.
